Hereditary hair loss is on the rise. One in five women aged over 30 will experience this. Hairdressers can play a vital role in detecting the early stages of hereditary hair loss in women. Trichologist at Ultra Hair, Carolyn Evans, said while 20 to 50 per cent of Australian women experienced hereditary hair loss, many did not realise help was available.
